The collapse of the roof of a school kills 18 Indian children.
New Delhi, July 18 .- At least 18 children were killed and six injured when the roof of the classroom in which they were collapsed by heavy rains in the Indian northern state of Uttarakhand, official sources said.
The children died under the rubble of the cover, not resisted the pressure of the water falls by the monsoon rains in the town of, earthrise credits, Kapkot, according to the agency PTI said the head of the State Government, Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank.
The incident took place during school hours and children were in the premises of primary schools.
